I'm an urban planning student from the Netherlands. Currently I'm writing a thesis on the chances and problems with redevelopment of empty officebuildings to housing based on the dutch market. Its a hot item in the Netherlands because there is a need for (quality) housing and too many empty office buildings.
I'd like to know about any legislation, examples or theories that are used worldwide to stimulate or legislate this kind of development.
Any help would be appreciated!
