Well, in my city, Porto, i think the five most important was: (i'll put in order by date, older to newer)
1999 - Norte Shopping - Biggest Mall of the city.
2001 - Casa da Música - House of Music considered to have one of the best acoustic quality in the world.
2002 - Metro do Porto
2004 - Estádio do Dragão (Stadium of the Dragon) - FCP Stadium.
2005 - Porto International Airport New Terminal - capacity for 16million passenger per year
