Skylines: How Much Does Population Matter?

Most of us have done our fair share of evaluating skylines. And when we do so, a whole range of factors rushes into our heads to guide that decision-making process. Therefore, I ask: when you evaluate a skyline, to what extent does the population of the city in which the skyline is located play a role in your decision? What if, in a perfect world, we were forced to rate skylines without any knowledge of a city's population? Would, for example, Los Angeles get higher marks? Do you agree or disagree that the size of city should influence one's judgment of that city's skyline?>
