Organized crime

Every city has their own problem with crime whether they be petty crimes like theft or more serious ones like murder. But police forces in every major city look at organized crime as a serious problem that special task force are being setup.

It's a problem in most major cities. Gangs or criminal syndicates mark their turfs where they do their illegal business. If a rival gang invades one gang's territory, war happens. There can be alot of shootings, fights, explosions, etc. Sometimes gang wars affect public safety where alot of victims happen to be innocent bystander caught in the way.

In HK, organized crime is a problem. Yes the crime rate in HK is low but criminal syndicates like the triads still operate illegal business like drugs, extortion, etc. But compared to other cities, the activities of the triads don't affect public safety. The triads are present in areas such as Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Sham Shui Po or Kwun Tong.
