Your city's biggest population boom period.

As most of us know all cities had their population boom periods and some still are having them. Some cities had long boom periods, others only for a short time. It would be great if you would share your city's raw and percentage growth during its greatest population boom. For example NYC's greatest population boom took place between 1900-1930. The city's population doubled in that period from 3.4million to 6.9million. It averaged a growth of 2%-4% over 30 years.
